A beautiful table clock in the Georgian style typical of the work of John Ellicott, circa 1730 by Comitti London. The traditional triple chime, polished nested bell, 8 day movement is set in a gorgeous inverted bell top cabinet decorated with high quality burr walnut veneers, exquisite fretwork and inlaid satinwood edgeline. Its solid brass dial plate is adorned with cast spandrels, silver chapter ring, roman numerals and delicate, fine milled hands. Completed with lacquered solid brass furniture and bevelled glass panels. The movement is complete with a silencer option, automatic night silencer, chime sequence and beat correction playing the wonderful Westminster, Whittington and St. Michael melodies. Production is limited to just 50 clocks anually and is supplied with a certificate of authenticity.
