The case is wonerfully veneered with a luxury book-matched burr yew veneer, with the door featuring cross-banded figured yew with inlaid black stringing - all hand rubbed with a waxed finish. An enamel finish dial with second indicator at the 12 o'clock position, roman numerals and delicate milled period hands. The glass panels are all finest quality mineral glass; while lacquered solid brass fittings complete the design. A secret key compartment is also located in the bottom of the clock case.
