The Chatsworth from Comitti London, master clock makers since 1850 is a wonderful reproduction of a Georgian style break arch case typical of the work of London maker William Webster, circa 1710. The cabinet is decorated with book-matched burr veneers and inlaid with satinwood banding. The case features fluted quarter columns to the trunk and corinthian pillars to the hood. The hood is removable to allow for movement adjustment, while the cabinet is bleached, hand rubbed and waxed to achieve an unmistakably luxurious antique patina. Features a triple chime 8 day cable movement playing the traditional Westminster, Whittington and St. Michaels melodies. Automatic night silencer, chime sequence and beat correction.
